The Finger Lakes Interactive Play (FLIP) is a mobile scavenger hunt you can play on your iPhone or iOS device when you visit 12 select historic sites in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. You can test your knowledge through trivia about the site and learn exciting facts. Try to spot the differences on your screen at the historic site and discover augmented reality experiences. Visitors will receive digital badges for completing these activity challenges at each historic site. FLIP is a creation of the students & faculty of the following programs at RIT: School of International Hospitality and Service Innovation, School of Interactive Games & Media and School of Design 3-D Digital Design and The MAGIC Center at RIT. Funded by a grant from Empire State Development. In collaboration with The Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council.
Requires iOS 6.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
